I am a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in helping women. Twelve years of clinical work specializing in treating women with eating disorders and anxiety has led me to a particular interest in reproductive psychology. This includes, but is not limited to, infertility, perinatal mood disorders, child loss, parenting adjustment, and issues related to menopause. I am passionate about helping women learn to understand their needs, their biology, and their temperament so that they can take care of themselves and find new, effective ways of coping. I also know that as humans we are hardwired for connection. Our relationships can be the foundation of support during difficult times or can be the catalyst for distress. I believe that a part of feeling better is feeling supported. Helping you understand how to get your needs met in relationships, end relationships that are not working for you, and helping you find relationships that build you up are often a very important part of feeling better.

On a personal note, I am a native of Gainesville, Georgia. After training and working in Atlanta for 10 years, I returned to Gainesville to be closer to my family. I really enjoy my work and afterwards, spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. We all enjoy spending time in the mountains, or near any body of water. I am also a board member for Gateway Domestic Violence Center, helping protect women and children from domestic violence.
