Hello, my name is Sherin and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have had extensive training working with children, teenagers, and families. In addition, I have led parenting groups focused on increasing the attachment between child and caregiver, and increasing reflection and understanding of the child's behaviors, actions, and statements. My specialities in children and teenagers include anxiety, depression, divorce, trauma, and social issues. I also enjoy working with victims of domestic violence. I am trained and certified in the following Evidence Based Practices: Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Reflective Parenting Program (RPP). I am a culturally sensitive clinician and have participated in many trainings/discussions regarding being mindful in including cultural identities/factors in treatment. I am a curious, honest, and empathic clinician and I want to hear about your expectations of treatment.
