Professional Biography

I am originally trained as an Occupational Therapist(working for the last 10 years post university mainly in Spinal Injury, Technical officer at Handicap International Nepal, Work rehabilitation, Paediatrics and currently in Mental Health), completed certificate IV in child and adolescent mental health from Institute of Psychiatry, NSW. I have two years of inpatient psychiatric experience mainly in mood disorder and early intervention(specialised unit at Cumberland Hospital, Sydney, NSW).

I am currently working in a Community mental health crisis team for the last two years, conducting mental health assessments, care coordination and I also have a private practice where I provided focused psychological intervention mainly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Acceptance and Commitment therapy thus far.

I enjoy working in the private practice and I am passionate to provide counselling service to people with mental illness and mental disorder.

Recently I am trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy and looking forward to upgrade my skills on the same.
