Hi, I am a MFT Intern working at SSG Ap recovery helping adults and older adults (Hispanic, black, and Asian) with several mental disorders in Los Angeles county. I graduated from APU w/ my MFT degree on Dec 2015. My first practicum site was Foothill Family Services and I worked w/ children, family, and adults in both individual and group therapy. My second practicum site was West Covina Unified School District: Merced Elementary and Rio Verde Academy. My first post graduate site was Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic where I worked with TAY (transitional age youth) from 16-25 in Los Angeles county. After that, I moved to SSG AP recovery which is my current agency. Although I have no official EBP training outside of grad school, I am a high advocate and user of cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
