Dr. Anna Brandon is a board-certified clinical psychologist in private practice in Southlake, Texas, a suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Anna completed her doctoral training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and subsequently received a Master of Science in Clinical Science as an NIH-funded Clinical Scholar. At UT Southwestern, Anna assisted in the development of a free-standing Women’s Mental Health Center, and was awarded an early career development award from the National Institute of Mental Health to develop Partner-Assisted Interpersonal Psychotherapy for perinatal mood disorders. Her research took her to the University of North Carolina, where between 2011 and 2014 she was also the staff psychologist at the first dedicated perinatal psychiatry inpatient unit in the US. Anna began serving as an IPT consultant in 2011 under the leadership of Dr. Scott Stuart, and continues to collaborate with Dr. Stuart in IPT research as an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Iowa. In addition to her private practice in Texas, she supervises graduate students of the UT Southwestern Clinical Psychology program.
