Hanouf Alahmari, MA, LMFT, is a bilingual Arabic- and English-speaking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Founder of True Self Practice in Los Angeles, California. She provides culturally grounded, evidence-based psychotherapy for MENA and Muslim adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, attachment wounds, relationship difficulties, anxiety, and the effects of early adversity.
Licensed in California and Saudi Arabia, Hanouf holds a Community-Based Certification in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Her approach integrates IPT with EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based psychotherapy, and nervous system-informed care.
