The IPT Institute both individual and small group case consultation in IPT.  Consultation is typically done on-line using zoom, gotomeeting, skype, or other on-line meeting platforms.  Consultation is provided weekly or bi-weekly in hour blocks.  Small groups usually include 2-4 clinicians.  The Institute has a number of superb and experienced IPT consultants who can arrange flexible times for consultation.

PLEASE NOTE: The IPT Institute provides consultation on cases, NOT supervision.  The purpose of case consultation is to assist clinicians to deliver IPT reliably and at a high level of competence and adherence.  Consultation is designed to assess and improve therapist delivery of IPT, and is not a substitute for supervision of patient care.  Clinicians MUST have arrangements in place for supervision of their work with patients or acknowledge that they bear sole responsibility for all of their direct care of patients.

Case consultation can easily be arranged for individuals or groups wishing to:

1) Complete the IPT Community-Based Training requirements (Level B)

2) Complete the IPT Certified Clinician requirements (Level C)

3) Improve and solidify their IPT skills

4) Obtain APA CE credits
