I'm Melissa (She/They)! I hold a license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Substance Abuse Counselor Associate (LCAS-A). I work out of my private practice office (Mountain Dandelion Counseling) and am currently located in the downtown area of Sylva, NC. I obtained my education from Western Carolina University. I enjoy supporting individuals who are managing many life transitions; my specialties include: perinatal mental health, anxiety/depression, family transitions with young children (i.e. new parenting, changes in family dynamics, school, etc.) , and couples counseling.
