IPT Institute China is an affiliated branch of the IPT Institute International, dedicated to advancing the practice and training of Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) across the country. History
The IPT Institute’s affiliated work in China began in 2015 with early collaborations between local mental health professionals and international IPT trainers. Over the years, these efforts have evolved into a robust and growing presence, marked by formal partnerships with hospitals, universities, and training centers. The branch has played a vital role in expanding the reach of IPT through ongoing education, supervision, and research initiatives tailored to the needs of Chinese clinicians and communities.
