Elyse Springer, MA-CLP, LMFT, PMH-C, is a Los Angeles-based licensed marriage and family therapist
practicing in California, Oregon, and Washington.  She is the Policy & Advocacy Chair and training
faculty for Postpartum Support International’s California chapter (PSI-CA). She specializes in
perinatal mental health disorders, pregnancy and infant loss, LGBTQIA+ mental health, trauma, OCD,
and HIV/AIDS, and is an EMDRIA-Certified Consultant and Therapist. Her therapeutic style is
conversational, transparent, and grounded in evidence-based and somatic approaches. Authenticity
and clarity are foundational to her work, and her passion for advancing trauma-informed,
culturally responsive pathways of care drew her to Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) as a main
modality in her practice. A passionate teacher, Elyse also serves as training faculty for
perinatal non-profits Maternal Mental Health NOW, Return to Zero: H.O.P.E., and Love, Dad.
