Anna Brandon, PhD, ABPP

Dr. Anna Brandon is a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist who conducted research in an adaptation of Interpersonal Psychotherapy for pregnant and postpartum women that included their partner in the treatment.  She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern.  After a decade of NIMH-supported research on both Partner-Assisted Interpersonal Psychotherapy and the ethics of using pregnant and lactating women in clinical trials, she left the academic environment and opened a private practice in Southlake, Texas, specializing in the treatment of women experiencing emotional distress during reproductive events.

Simulataneously, Dr. Brandon started My Red Tent, a 501c3 organization linking women with low resources to free/low-cost treatment for perinatal distress and neonatal loss.

She has been on faculty with the IPT Institute since 2010.
