An Introduction to IPT: Free Live Webinar

About Event

Join us on April 10 for a free two-hour review of the basics of IPT.  We’ll cover IPT theory, structure, and techniques, as well as several tools like the Interpersonal Inventory that you can incorporate into your clinical practice right after the webinar.

The webinar features speakers Scott Stuart, MD (Director of the IPT Institute), and Paulette Christopher, PhD.

All clinicians are welcome to attend.  The webinar is highly recommended for graduate students in psychology, social work, and nursing, as well as residents in psychiatry.

IPT is an empirically validated treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and PTSD, and can be used transdiagnostically to provide effective treatment to a wide variety of clients. IPT is recognized as an evidence-based treatment by the American Psychological Association.

IPT is based on attachment and interpersonal theory, and emphasizes that a client’s relationships impact the client’s experience of distress, and that the client’s distress also impacts those around them. IPT utilizes a Biopsychosocial/Cultural/Spiritual model which recognizes the specific influences of culture and spirituality on distress and community.

We look forward to seeing you at the webinar!

… if you are not able to attend on April 10, we will be conducting a second webinar on May 7.

The webinar will be in a single two hour block from 7 PM to 9 PM Central Daylight Time (Chicago).

Please be SURE that you have the correct time for your home location when you register.
